Job Summary:
As an IT Technician, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support across the company, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining smooth IT operations. Whether it’s setting up new devices, diagnosing issues, or performing regular system updates, you’ll be the tech wizard making sure everyone can work efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, connectivity issues, and performance problems.
- Install and update software and drivers, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Assist with network setup, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with the IT team to maintain a secure and efficient IT infrastructure.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide basic IT training to staff and assist with new technology rollouts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as an IT Technician, Help Desk Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common office software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to explain tech issues clearly to non-tech-savvy colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of network security and data protection practices.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a bonus.
- A positive attitude, team-player mentality, and eagerness to learn.
