Job Summary:
As a Construction Estimator, you’ll be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers to help deliver successful and profitable projects. With your keen eye for detail and analytical skills, you’ll play a key role in turning ideas into achievable plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate estimates.
- Analyze costs of materials, labor, and equipment for each project.
- Consult with subcontractors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and timelines for project proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure alignment on budgets.
- Update and adjust estimates as project needs evolve.
- Maintain records of past project costs and data for future reference.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
