Job Full Description
A client of ours in Sherwood is looking to add a Manual Machinist to their Swing shift team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist to get in with an organization who makes every part of their product here in the USA.
This is an evaluation to full-time hire position!

Duties:
- Setting up and running a Horizontal Boring Mill.
- Handle blueprints
- Maybe use hand-tools
- Be self-motivated and team-oriented
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs)
- 3+ years setting up and operating: Lathes, horizontal mills, vertical mills a Horizontal
- Experience handling and setting up large parts
- Experience working with steel and/or heavy metals
- Work with engineers for tooling specs
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Lifting up to 50lbs
Pay: $24 - $30 /hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:30PM - 11PM, with OT and Saturday work
