Job Full Description
A client of ours in Canby is looking to add a TIG Welder to their team. The ideal candidate for this role would have some experience with some TIG Welding or working with Stainless steel tubing. #1939ST
This is an evaluation to hire position.
Duties:
- TIG welding and sheet metal manufacturing, including grinding and finishing 049-065
- TIG welding stainless steel parts & tubing
- Fitting/Wirefeed Skills
- Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process
- Interpret weld symbols
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- No certification is required but must be able to pass the TIG welding test.
- Experience with stainless steel TIG welding (2+ years preferred)
- Sheet metal experience preferred.
- Excellent work ethic and dependability.
- Strong desire to learn and grow.
- Steel toed boots are REQUIRED for the job as well as a welding hood
Pay: $21 - $27/hr. DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday 6 AM – 2:30 PM, OT Available
