Job Full Description
A client of ours in Tualatin is looking to add a Packaging Associate to their team. The ideal candidate will have packaging/assembly experience, and they will be responsible for the bulk packaging and breakdown of bulk products. The individual may assist in carrying out quality inspection tasks as specified by the Quality Engineer when and if needed.
This is a seasonal position through January, 17th.
Duties
- Package goods, accessories, and literature into consumer packaging
- Sort and place materials or items with matching model numbers
- Count and record accurate quantities of materials
- Break down old product packs of items that did not sell
- Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of the warehouse
- Limited computer work initially but if you are okay with computer work and able to grasp it there will be potential for additional tasks
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs)
- HS Diploma/ GED
- Ability to read, write, and follow written procedures in English consistently and accurately
- Ability to escalate issues when determined necessary
- Ability to lift 30-50lbs
Pay: $18.00hr.
Schedule: Monday and Wednesdays 8am-4:30pm, this could turn into 3-5 days a week but will start at two days. There will be more hours after Thnaksgiving!
