Job Full Description
A client of ours in Hubbard is looking for a Production Operator. The ideal candidate will be experienced in metal manufacturing, have experience deburring and comfortable with general production tasks.
This is a contract position; however, depending on workload, it could turn into a long-term role.
Duties:
- Operate various production equipment: CNC Punch Press, you would be loading the sheet metal into the machine and then shaking it out once the cut outs have been made.
- Using air belt sander to deburr rough edges for a smooth metal finish.
- Use various hand tools.
- Cut incoming material to the required job size.
- Quality control at various stages of production - Verifying and validating parts are correct.
- Stacking and organizing finished parts per instructions to avoid damage to the paint
- Labeling and packaging parts to be delivered to the customer
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):
- HS Diploma/GED
- Basic math skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift
Pay: $19/hr. DOE.
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 6 am-4:30 pm, with occasional OT on Mondays 8-hour shift.
