Job titles: HR Coordinator

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 8am – 5pm M – F or an option for a 4-10 shift

Duration: 6-month contract, with potential permanent conversion depending on business needs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to implement a variety of human resource programs. The HR department will depend on your assistance in several important functions such as staffing, employee relations, training and development.

HR Generalist Job Highlights:

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training & development
  • Provide prospective employees tours, completing safety/orientation, checking in with various leaders, employees, and support teams.
  • Foster positive employee relations as a contact for employee inquiries/communications and work to solve any employee issues that surface.
  • Maintaining employee communications to include text blast program, monthly newsletter, TVs.
  • Coordination of meetings / events / committees.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

What We Look For In HR Generalists:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and comfortable speaking Spanish in front of teams and individually  
  • Customer Service experience
  • HR experience a plus
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • Applicants must be comfortable with data entry and administrative duties
  • High school diploma/GED is required – higher education is ideal
