Job Full Description
Our client in Tualatin immediately needs a Part-Time Contract Accounts Payable Clerk. This opportunity is perfect for highly detailed accounting professionals and those who can take the initiative.
Type of placement: Contract - Part Time
Duties:
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial data.
- Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Comparing system reports to balances and verifying entries.
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers.
- Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies.
- Reconciling monthly vendor statements and issuing payments.
- Reconciling American Express statements and ensuring receipts are getting turned in.
- Expense tracking and reporting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Complete-Month end close assigned tasks within deadlines given.
- Performing recordkeeping and preparing financial reports.
- Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferring in accounts payable
- Self-starter
- Detail-Oriented
- Takes initiative
- Stays on task.
Pay: $23-25/hr.
Schedule: If they have multiple schedules, open one post and list the available schedules.
Monday – Friday, Part Time Hours, Start and End times are flexible. Looking for 4-6 hours/day between 8am - 5pm.
