Diesel and HVAC Technician
Our client who is one of the fastest growing companies with in their industry in the U.S. is looking for their next team member. This position is based out of Hubbard, OR.
Schedule:
Hours: 7am - 4pm, Monday through Friday, there are days where you may have to work until 7 PM.
Availability: 24-hour availability, will be on call at times.
Overtime: Common and usually mandatory depending on workload, jobs, and breakdowns
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service, repair, and dispose of equipment that could release ozone-depleting refrigerants
- Drive a company vehicle (MVR check required)
- Basic understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines/controllers, dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters, compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercoolers)
- Read electric schematics and hydraulic flow
- Repair and maintain pump and power equipment
- Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with customers, work independently, and stay on task
Required Qualifications:
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (for technicians who maintain, service, repair, or dispose of equipment that could release ozone-depleting refrigerants)
- 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining pump and power equipment
- Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, heaters, shoring, diesel equipment, generators, air compressors, and diagnostic software
- Reliable and able to communicate with customers effectively
Tools:
Must provide own basic tools
Pay: $30.00-$39.00/hr.
