Summary:
This role involves assembling electronic PCB assemblies and building electronic/electrical assemblies, as well as training others in these processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in soldering, component rework, and quality control, contributing to our continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 pm to 1:30am Must train on day shift for up to 30days. 

 

Pay Rate: $23/hr.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect assemblies based on customer requirements.
  • Solder class 2 and class 3 to IPC workmanship standards.
  • Perform rework on SMT and through-hole components.
  • Adhere to quality policies and procedures.
  • Achieve efficiency and utilization standards.
  • Follow directions from Team Leaders or Supervisors for product builds.
  • Excel in manual assembly processes including stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering, and rework.
  • Support and drive Continuous Improvement and Lean activities.
  • Serve as a backup Team Leader when necessary.
  • Actively participate in team activities, displaying enthusiasm and dependability.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Attendance is essential as work must be performed on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year experience in the electronics industry, with Quality Control experience.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math proficiency.
  • Reasoning Ability: Capable of assessing product quality against documentation.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to train others to A1 or A2 Classification.
    • Competent in inventory transactions in Epicor.
    • Willingness to learn the operation of the BGA rework station (Scorpion).
    • Must pass the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course.
    • Must pass the IPC Workmanship Standards exam, J-STD-001 (soldering focus), and IPC 7711/7721 (rework and repair focus)
