Job Full Description
Express is seeking a Finisher for our client in Macungie, PA.
Looking for candidates who are dedicated to be part of a team that will build hand crafted products which will be enjoyed and seen by millions and generations around the globe.
This temp to hire opportunity offers full time hours on 1st shift – 7:30a-4p, Mon-Fri. Pay is $19.00 hr.
Looking for experienced wood workers, wood working hobbyists, or have assembly line experience.
Must be reliable, have a good work ethic, be able to work in a team like atmosphere and have reliable transportation.
The Finisher will be responsible for Job Duties:
- Hand staining all finished carpentry goods
- utilizing orbital sanders and other sanding machines to finish goods
- Requires good mechanical skills & ability to follow directions
assembling to required specifications. Must be capable of reading and understanding work orders written in English.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to use hands to operate small hand tools such as battery screwdrivers and hand drills. Must use arms to reach during the assembly process as required.
- Good visual acuity to perform tasks accurately..
- Ability to stand and sit during 8-hour shift.
