Do you enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same? Currently seeking a Shop Utility Specialist for an immediate hire. In this role, you will support the day to day operations of the shop floor by working on a variety of tasks in our team-oriented environment. This is a physical job that requires the individual to have a level of fitness to complete the tasks listed in the job description.

Responsibilities:
- Assist machine shop employees in assembly work, machine setup, Maintenance activities.
- Assist shipping in receipt of incoming shipments and visually inspect goods are correct in both quality and quantity
- Perform quality inspections and document.
- Load and unload crates, skids, boxes, and super sacks from trucks
- Pull all parts from inventory required for customer orders and work in process.
- Stage parts for machining operations
- Store received finished goods and raw material for production in the proper location
- Painting and application of protective coatings on finished products
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory through daily, monthly and periodic checks
- Pick-up and delivery of local orders
- Assist with physical labor for plant maintenance and test facility.
- General building maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep
- Assist in customer site visits for inspection and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of machine tools and measurement devices
- Ability to frequently move and position/lift objects weighing up to 40lbs
- Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
- Proficient in tools associated with packaging such as Saws, Pneumatic Nail Guns, Drills and all Hand Tools associated with basic carpentry
- Comfortable working with heavy equipment
- Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is preferred
- Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred.
