Job Title: Water Truck Operator
Job Type: Full-Time ( Temporary to Permanent Position)
Job Summary: Our Client, a locally owned landscaping company, is seeking a skilled and reliable Water Truck Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a water truck to transport and distribute water for various construction and landscaping projects. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently. Benefits once associate becomes Permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a water truck to transport and distribute water to designated locations.
- Ensure the proper loading and unloading of water for landscaping installations.
- Maintain accurate records of water usage and delivery schedules.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the water truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate water delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- No CDL required, however possession of a DOT medical card is
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience operating a water truck or similar equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and maneuvering heavy hoses and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
