Job Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring machine operations to ensure accurate product measurements, making minor adjustments as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy, assisting with pre-maker-ready activities, and managing machine unloading and preparation for the next stage of production. This position requires the ability to operate machinery independently and follow safety protocols while maintaining high-quality standards.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday (NO WEEKENDS!)
• 8:00AM-4:30PM

Pay Rate:

• $17.00-20.00/hr (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor machine operations to ensure product measurements meet specifications.
• Make minor adjustments to machines as necessary to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Unload the machine and grind/clean parts to prepare them for the next stage of production.
• Assist set-up technicians with pre-maker-ready activities.
• Operate a machine independently and ensure it runs efficiently.
• Accurately read tape measures to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Use crane lifts when necessary to move heavy or bulky items.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned, in line with reasonable accommodations.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating environment is preferred.
• Ability to make precise machine adjustments and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in using tape measures and reading measurements accurately.
• Ability to operate a crane lift and other equipment safely when required.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
