Job Full Description
Daycare located in Mount Pocono is seeking a full time experienced lead teacher to join their team! This position will be Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe and evaluate children's development and progress as directed by administration.
- Maintain an individual portfolio for each student to track growth and achievements.
- Prepare and complete weekly lesson plans, goals, and newsletters.
- Ensure the classroom environment is clean, organized, and appropriately decorated.
- Assist children with personal hygiene, including diapering, toileting, and handwashing.
- Implement age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Foster positive relationships with parents through ongoing communication and engagement.
