Machine Operators are needed to support our customers in Easton. The Machine Operators need to have a background in a metal production fabrication environment.
-Operators need to have 2-3 years of experience working on multiple machines in metal fabrication.
-Press brake operators use the press brake machine to shape multiple types of metal, primarily sheet metal. To do so, the operators load pieces of metal into the machine for shaping or straightening, aligning, and positioning the material to achieve specific shapes. CNC Press Brake, perform complex programming using all features of the press brake. Use a CNC controller to input information into the machine.
-Set up and operate forming operations using standard and custom punches.
-Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel).
-Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
-Check height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments. Work with tight tolerances. Read drawings and blueprints.
-Produce parts for assembly operations. English and Metric dimensions Perform spot inspections of parts.
-Complete and maintain paperwork.
-Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures. Check the machine for defects and repair if necessary.
-Ensure the machine is calibrated and cleaned. Small and large parts to be bent.
-The operator must be able to lift heavier parts in and out of the brake when needed. Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
Hours:
• Mon - Thurs : 4.30pm - 3.00am
Requirements:
• Operating brake presses, shear operators, and other machinery
• Experience bending sheet metal
• Must be able to read a ruler and have previous experience
