Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing service procedures while providing support for customer service needs. The primary objective of this role is to ensure immediate resolution of customer concerns and deliver services that meet or exceed equipment design expectations. Key responsibilities include answering service calls as needed, coordinating communication with other departments when issues cannot be resolved directly, and scheduling service calls with customers to ensure timely service. The Service Manager also creates service orders in Visual, assists customers with warranty issues by determining warranty coverage, and supports service technicians over the phone when necessary. Additionally, this role involves arranging all travel-related details for service technicians and customers, reviewing equipment in production to identify potential field issues, and ensuring past issues have been addressed in current builds. The Service Manager is also responsible for reviewing and submitting technician expense reports as needed and facilitating communication between service technicians and the sales team.
Candidates for this role should have significant experience in service-related management and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
