Job Full Description

Our client has over 130 facilities worldwide that provide innovative packaging solutions, they are the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper-based packaging for some of the world’s most recognized brands of food, beverage, foodservice, household, personal care and pet care products.

Job title: Machine Operator/Cutter Pay: $21.86/hour

Shift: 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am (2 days on, 2 days off. 3 days on, every other weekend off)

Responsibilities:

Experienced in die cutting process utilizing high speed cutting equipment.
Department duties will include make-ready; in-process running, in-process testing, stripping, non-conforming product identification including cartons identified to have excessive board curl, and finished goods identification.
Operate Bobst 140 CER sheet fed die cutting machines with stripping and blanking section
Perform troubleshooting activities on die cutting machines and web press
Perform quality checks and complete appropriate paperwork for the department.
Ensure cleanliness of work area, ensuring GMP guidelines are consistently satisfied
