Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a full time direct hire Flooring Project Manager. This role will oversee and coordinates all aspects of flooring installation projects, from initial client contact to final project completion. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

Project Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
Coordinate with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.

Client Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide regular project updates and address client concerns promptly.

Team Management:

Oversee and manage a team of flooring installers.
Provide training and support to ensure team members are equipped to perform their tasks effectively.

Quality Control:

Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Address any quality issues promptly.

Budget Management:

Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
Manage change orders and adjustments to the project scope.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are followed on job sites.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and progress reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction, project management, or related fields.
Proven experience in flooring installation project management.
Strong understanding of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Project).

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Experience with estimating and bidding on flooring projects.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).

Work hours are Mon to Fri, 8am to 4:30pm. Base salary of $52,000 plus full benefit package including medical, dental, 401K and life insurance.
