Express Employment is seeking Yard Laborers to team up with our client in the Penn Hills area!
Starting pay - $16/hr
Start time - 6 am start
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor tasks including cleaning vehicles, removing parts, and organizing the yard.
- Operate basic machinery like lifts and loaders to move vehicles and parts.
- Assist with draining fluids from vehicles and removing parts like tires, batteries, and other components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by picking up trash, car parts, and other debris.
- Set and move vehicles on wheel stands to prepare for further processing.
- Handle and remove various vehicle parts in preparation for recycling or disposal.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in an outdoor, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, or automotive work is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling materials and maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working with machinery and heavy equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred for effective communication with team members and customers.
