Pay: $20.00+/hr

Express is seeking a full-time Welder to team up with our clients in the New Kensington & Pittsburgh areas.

Hours: Monday – Friday
Schedule may vary depending on deadlines and workload

Pay: $20.00 - 30.00/hr (negotiable depending on experience)
Associates are expected to maintain perfect attendance and punctuality during their first 30 days of employment.
Failure to do so may lead to termination.

Responsibilities:

Assemble and fabricate metal components based on schematics and blueprints.
Utilize various welding processes, including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, and SAW, to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and red metals.
Rig and position heavy metal parts using cranes, hoists, and other equipment.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials safely.
Perform welding tasks such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Utilize plasma cutting equipment to cut and shape metal components with precision.
Thread pipes for installation in various systems as required.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fitting.
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication techniques.
Experienced with various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW, and SAW welding.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques for joining metal components.
Proficiency in plasma cutting for precise metal cutting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace safety standards.
