Express Employment is seeking a Glass Shop Laborer to team up with our client in the Pittsburgh area!
Monday - Friday
7 am - 3 pm
Starting pay - $16 - $16.50/hr

Responsibilities Production laborer:
- Assist with daily production tasks in the glass shop.
- Operate basic tools and equipment as directed.
- Handle and prepare molds for glass pouring.
- Monitor and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Load, move, and organize materials as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and work instructions.
- Support team members with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities for Quality Inspector:
- Set up and use micrometers, calipers, contour gauges, feeler gauges, height gauges, and other custom gauges to inspect glassware for quality and accuracy.
- Review current inspection sheets, drawings, and work instructions to determine the criteria for glassware inspection.
- Properly identify flaws or defects in glassware and document them accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for glassware to be reformed or repaired to meet quality standards.
- Perform minor repairs on glassware as needed to ensure product quality.
- Accurately complete ware cards, inspection reports, and other necessary records.
- Maintain data integrity and promptly notify supervisors of any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to work in a high-temperature environment and handle physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 LB
- Must have valid Drivers licenses
