Express is seeking a Production Utility Worker for a full-time position in Verona, PA!
Job Summary: The Utility Worker is responsible for the proper packaging of materials and finished products. This role includes loading and moving materials, operating packaging equipment, and following Good Manufacturing Practices. Ideal candidates will ensure quality standards and maintain production efficiency.
Shift:
- First: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Second: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Third: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Duties of the Utility Worker:
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards as well as applicable regulations.
- Properly pack and package products according to customer specifications.
- Inspect finished products to meet customer requirements.
- Discard defective items and report quality issues to management.
- Prepare materials to support production line changeovers, including mix and regrind material.
- Monitor conveyor systems and clear bottle jams from the lines.
- Operate various equipment including bagging, de-bagging, bottle decoration, and silkscreen machines.
- Assemble boxes and cartons, and hand-pack materials as needed.
- Load and unload materials from trucks.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications of the Utility Worker:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliability and a solid work ethic
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, and crouch throughout the shift
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus
