Job Full Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
• Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients and equipment
• Ensure food is cooked, seasoned, and plated to meet customer expectations
• Follow portion control guidelines and minimize food waste
• Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout your shift
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Assist with food preparation during off-peak times as needed
• Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen hygiene practices (e.g., proper storage and labeling)
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant cooking experience 
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs pounds
