Sales Representative 

Territory Coverage: Western PA up to Erie, Eastern OH, Cleveland Market (focus on Pittsburgh and Northern WV) 
Schedule: Full-time, 40+ hours/week 
Training: 4-6 weeks in-office training (hotel accommodations provided for remote candidates) 

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales Representative. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of sales success, particularly in the food distribution sector, who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing book of business, specifically targeting fine dining establishments, private schools, churches, pizza shops, and other local restaurants. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and grow an assigned book of business, including fine dining establishments, restaurants, and schools
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Maintain and develop long-term relationships with clients, including ordering, account management, and troubleshooting.
  • Be present in the field visiting clients; the role is not remote and requires in-person visits to clients (restaurants, schools, churches, etc.).
  • Input and manage orders, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
  • Track sales, manage client accounts, and ensure all customer needs are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations, delivery, and customer satisfaction. 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven sales experience in the food distribution or related industry 
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with clients.
  • Ability to manage accounts and track sales independently, with a strong focus on growth and client retention.
  • Must be comfortable with a mix of office and field work, with the ability to work independently. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Base salary plus commission (no cap on commission).
  • Health benefits (with a low deductible, dental, and vision).
  • Simple IRA after 90 days with a company match (7-8%).
  • Paid time off (PTO) after 90 days.

  • Laptop and expense card provided; gas reimbursement available.
