Wire Rope Shop Apperentice needed at our client in Carnegie, PA
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform splicing and fabrication of wire-rope and associated rigging hardware into a customized wire Review and interpret instructions for fabricating wire-rope slings. Calculate wire rope cut lengths, fitting requirements and select appropriate equipment to produce all varieties of wire rope assemblies. Setup and operate all wire rope production machines and equipment. Select, write and attach proper tags and labels to products; locate and interpret appropriate capacity Count, record and report inventory used as required. Maintain work area, equipment and tools in a clean and organized manner, and follow all Safety Perform other associated duties as directed or required. Must be willing and able to learn shipping and receiving and testing procedures for rigging. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to lift/pull a minimum of 50 lbs. Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills.

$18/ hour
