Do you enjoy the supply chain field? Possess an Associates in a business related field or a Bachelors in supply chain, logistics or engineering? Express Employment is seeking a Buyer/Planner to join a busy Philipsburg area manufacturer.
* $40k - $52k/year based on experience and education plus excellent benefits and PTO.
* M-F daytime hours
* Responsibilities of the role: Review MRP suggestions, create purchase orders, schedule jobs based on material availability, manage supplier relationships, manage inventory, strive to obtain lowest total cost for inventory, maintain and publish supplier scorecards, analyze inventory to establish safety stock, planning parameters and material flow.
* Seeking candidates with excellent communication, phone and negotiation skills. Must be well organized, efficient and have the ability to facilitate meetings and prepare presentations. Understanding of the current industry and regulations. Prefer candidates with a B. S. in Supply chain, logistics, engineering or related field. A.S. in a business related field with at least two years of experience will also be considered. APICS certified in production and inventory management is a plus.
