Responsibilities of the Manual Machinist:
• Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate and modify metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform quality checks to ensure precise measurements and tolerances
• Conduct machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenance
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements of the Manual Machinist:
• Previous experience as a manual machinist (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Must be open to eventually working 2nd or 3rd shift
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting
