Job Summary: The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing, with preferred experience in recycling plant operations. The Plant Manager will lead a team of professionals, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve product quality, and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety.
  • Manage plant budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper functioning of machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align plant activities with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and present reports on plant performance, project status, and operational issues to senior management.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in recycling plant operations, including knowledge of recycling processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing plant operations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
