An Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems

Responsibilities:

Repairing brake and steering systems
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic systems
Replacing or repairing transmissions and fuel components as needed
Inspecting the vehicle’s mechanical components and its engine
Performing maintenance and repair work on cars, trucks and other vehicles
Running vehicle diagnostic tests and replacing damaged and/or outdated components
Test driving vehicles and interacting with the vehicle using diagnostic tools on the vehicle electronics
Being good at diagnosis to find the issue causing problems in the vehicle and fix it for the customer
