Job Full Description

Aluminum Mig welders use a variety of tools and techniques to connect aluminum parts, and their job duties may include: 
 
  • Setting up equipment
    Aluminum welders use MIG, welding techniques, and they may need to set up spools, guns, and other equipment. 
     
  • Reading blueprints
    Aluminum welders read blueprints to understand specifications and ensure they meet safety regulations and quality standards. 
     
  • Preparing metal
    Aluminum welders may need to grind, drill, and cut aluminum before welding. 
     
  • Welding
    Aluminum welders may use MIG, TIG, or arc welding techniques to connect aluminum parts. 
     
  • Finishing and inspecting
    Aluminum welders inspect their work for quality and accuracy, and they may also need to finish products. 
     
  • Maintaining equipment
    Aluminum welders may need to maintain their welding equipment, change parts, and move finished products. 
     
Other responsibilities may include: 
 
  • Using common power tools like drills and impact drivers 
     
  • Using common hand tools like hammers and tape measures 
     
  • Having math skills 
     
  • Having experience with sheet metal

Work schedule:

Monday-Thursday- 7am - 5:30pm 

Fridays- 7am - 12pm
