A company in Ladson that manufactures commercial cooling units is looking for an experienced mechanical assembler to join their team. As a member of our team, you will learn to build, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair subassemblies and final assemblies using manual operations. Daily responsibilities will vary from assembling panels, harnesses, enclosures and other small sub-assemblies, installing piping and brazing.

Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools assemble parts and subassemblies.
• Read and comprehend production order documentation, product drawings and identify part numbers.
• Inspect and troubleshoot components.
• Complete documentation and update the product assembly records during the build process.
• Moving finished goods for testing and packing.
• Participating in cross-training activities
• Applying all safety measures and adhering to company policies.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent education required.
• 1 to 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, understand basic work instructions, product drawings, or diagrams.
• Capable of troubleshooting, testing and repairing components.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to listen to and follow directions.
• Flexibility and a desire to learn is essential to your success in this role.
