Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently in the field, ensuring that all HVAC systems operate smoothly and effectively. Must have EPA Certificate.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed.
- Execute plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
- Build and assemble HVAC components as required for specific projects.
- Conduct equipment repairs for various HVAC appliances, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair tasks related to HVAC installations.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC design and installation.
- Familiarity with field service operations and the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in equipment repair and appliance repair within the HVAC context.
- Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites.
- Must have EPA Certificate.
