Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic machine components. Replace and repair gearboxes, motors (including rewiring and gear changes), rollers, conveyor systems, etc. Conduct electrical repairs (up to 480V) and wiring on equipment. Duties / Responsibilities:
Complete all machine electrical installations. Perform preventive maintenance. Identify and resolve the root causes of machine failures. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues. Ensure all production equipment is safe and nonhazardous. Utilize electronic calibration tools for in-house control devices. Use predictive tools and techniques to prevent machine failures. Engage with relevant personnel to find solutions to machine issues. Shut down and lock out unsafe equipment until proper corrective actions are made. Complete calibration procedures and properly handle maintenance wastes. Environmental Responsibilities:
Properly repair process and pollution control equipment. Handle waste generated from repair/maintenance activities appropriately. Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Journeyman status and/or 7-10 years of machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with PLCs, HMI systems, process controls, camera inspection systems, robotic controls. Knowledge of machine electrical and automation, mechanics, hydraulics, servo hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and welding. Ability to read blueprints and efficiently work within computer systems, including CMMS systems. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to make timely and effective decisions. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and thoroughness in task completion.
