Now Hiring: Welders for Fabrication Shop in Newberry
Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Welders to join a reputable fabrication shop in the Newberry area. This full-time position offers Monday to Thursday shifts, with both day and night shifts available, and occasional overtime as needed. Starting pay is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
This role is ideal for newly certified welders looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A weld test will be required during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and weld symbols to complete work orders.
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel industrial wiring (.045/.055).
- Operate an overhead crane to move components through the fabrication shop.
- Weld in a horizontal position, including some T-joint and pipe to plate welds.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- All PPE and welding hoods are provided.
