Now Hiring: CDL B Driver (Hazmat & Air Brake Endorsements Required)
Location: Local Routes within South Carolina
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $21.00 per hour, increasing to $22.00 per hour upon permanent hire
Bonuses: $500 - $800 per month, based on deliveries
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated CDL B Driver with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements to join our team! This position offers local routes within South Carolina, meaning you will be home daily. As a CDL B driver, you will be responsible for loading materials, completing deliveries, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Local Deliveries: Perform daily deliveries within South Carolina, making up to 12 deliveries per day.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload materials, including heavy barrels and drums (up to 600lbs). Utilize equipment such as liftgates, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks to assist with unloading, with some manual handling when necessary.
- Paperwork: Accurately complete all delivery documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring products arrive on time and in perfect condition, and interact professionally with customers.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL B driver’s license with Hazmat and Air Brake endorsements.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 600lbs), with liftgate and pallet jacks provided for assistance.
- Clean driving record with experience in local delivery routes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively.
