Property Maintenance Technician
Location: Apartment Community
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, On-call
Are you a hands-on, self-motivated individual with experience in apartment maintenance? Join our team as a Property Maintenance Technician and help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained community for our residents!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, sheet rock repair, electrical (lighting, wiring, etc.), and painting
Respond to service requests promptly (within 24 hours) and efficiently
Provide "on-call" emergency service as needed after hours
Ensure residents have a clean and well-maintained living environment
Maintain inventory of frequently used parts and replacement items
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs or more
Complete all tasks with attention to detail and a high level of customer service
Qualifications:
2 years of relevant experience required
HVAC certification preferred
Knowledge of electrical systems (lighting, wiring, 240 volts)
Plumbing experience (toilets, faucets, piping repairs)
Experience with carpentry (interior and exterior)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid drivers license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
Must be self-motivated and able to learn quickly
Must be honest, courteous, and work well with others
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
