Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring project efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, experience in managing a manufacturing shop, and proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor. This role involves project management, scheduling, and quoting, making it essential for the candidate to have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance manufacturing processes, utilizing hydraulic and pneumatic systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Scheduling & Quoting: Develop project schedules, estimate costs, and prepare quotes for manufacturing projects in collaboration with sales and production teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance in the use of AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to align on project goals and timelines.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering practices comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Experience with inventory management software.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Soft Skills: 

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
