Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the precision and quality of manufactured parts. In addition to CNC experience, experience with manual mills and lathes is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mill, lathe, or other types) based on provided specifications and drawings.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Work closely with the team to meet production schedules and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other CNC equipment).
- Experience with manual mills and lathes a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Familiarity with various tools, fixtures, and equipment used in the machining process.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
Pay is based on experience, $25+
