CDL A Delivery Driver- Local March 4, 2025

Located in Lyman, SC

Pay: BOE

Location: Lyman, SC

Shift: Hours will vary daily as needed- to be discussed with Manager

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently drive a flatbed truck to deliver landscaping supplies to various job sites.
Load, unload, and strap materials onto the flatbed truck, ensuring that all items are securely fastened to prevent damage during transport.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition and meets safety standards.
Maintain professional interactions with customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Plan and follow optimal delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to road safety regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle, performing minor maintenance and reporting any major issues to management.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws, including weight limits, driving regulations, and safety guidelines.
Ensure safe driving practices are followed at all times, especially while maneuvering the flatbed truck and securing the load.

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A
Strong knowledge of safety protocols, including proper loading and strapping techniques.
Proven experience in driving flatbed trucks and securing loads.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
