Mechanic, Power Generation
What is the opportunity?
We are recruiting OEM Dealership Power Generation Mechanics to join the team of a leading regional distributor of semi-trucks, construction equipment, and power generation units. If you are an experienced, efficient, and effective power generation mechanic seeking a team striving to achieve individual and business excellence and growth, this opportunity may be for you.
How will you spend your time?
- Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair power generators, in the shop and field
- Maintain timely and effective communication with the Service Foreman
- Complete timely and accurate job order records
- Embrace skills and knowledge training and development
- Achieve and maintain required OEM certifications
We are excited about you if you have the following?
- Prior record of success as a Mechanic in the Power Generation industry
- Excellent knowledge of diesel engines: Detroit Diesel, Cummins, CAT and International
- Proficiency with diesel engine and electrical systems (will train electrical mechanics for the right candidate)
- Possess a positive attitude, committed to individual and department success
- Require valid driver’s license and CDL-A, with good driving record
- Must possess basic tools needs, with specialty and diagnostic tools provided
- Full physical abilities (Strength, flexibility, mobility) to perform job duties.

- Work schedule: Open 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, negotiated work schedule with flexibility to meet field service needs
- Starting Compensation: $40+ hr., depending on experience
