What is the opportunity?
We are recruiting an Inside/Counter Sales professional to join the team of a leading regional distributor of building materials. If you are looking to take your career to the next level and like working in a locally owned, family-oriented environment, this may be the right opportunity for you.
How will you spend your time?
· Manage customer inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email, assisting with product selection, order details, and delivery information.
· Accurately process customer orders.
· Stay informed about the full range of products to provide expert advice to customers.
· Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
We will be excited about you if you have the following?
· Meaningful experience in a related position, preferably within the building materials distribution industry.
· Strong customer service and sales skills.
· Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
· Full physical abilities (Strength, flexibility, mobility) to perform job duties.
What do you get in return?
· Work schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
· Starting Compensation: $20 to $25 hr. compensation includes a combination of hourly wage plus monthly commission.
