Job Full Description

I. What is the opportunity? 

 

If you like working in the agriculture industry, with a variety of livestock operations, this job may be for you! We are hiring a CDL-A Driver to deliver livestock feed to confinement operations within a 100-mile radius of Sioux Falls.

 

II. How will you spend your time?

  1. Perform pre- and post-trip truck and trailer inspections.
  2. Complete a daily delivery route as assigned.
  3. Unload products utilizing company equipment and manual handling of smaller products.
  4. Develop and maintain good client relationships.

 III. We are excited about you if you have the following?

    1. A CDL-A Operator's License and DOT Medical Card in good standing.
    2. A good driving record that will meet company insurance requirements.
    3. Good customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    4. Efficient and effective management of time and quality.
    5. Have full physical abilities (strength, flexibility, mobility) to meet the requirements of the job.

 IV. What do you get in return?

    1. Work schedule: 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday (home nightly).
    2. Starting Compensation: $22 to $27 hr., plus benefits.
