Tax Preparer - $25-28/hour

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a tax preparer for a company in Maryville, TN.

Tax Preparer Responsibilities:

^{Tax preparation software and tax research}
^{Proficient with MS office – Word, Excel, Outlook}
^{Write-up/bookkeeping using QuickBooks/other accounting software}
^{Personable with excellent communication skills}
^{Must be responsible, dependable, and prompt}
^{Professional in appearance and demeanor}
^{Team player who works well with and supports others}
^{General office – copying, scanning, filing, answering phones, etc.}
^{Must be willing to work extended hours during peak season including weekends as needed.}
^{Other duties as assigned}

Tax Preparer Qualifications:

Knowledge of QuickBooks + Excel
S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, Trusts, Estates, Inheritance, and Individuals
3-5 years of tax experience in an office required
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to handle complex as well as routine tax/accounting work, requiring hands-on problem-solving abilities
^{Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills}
