Job Title: Physical Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, evidence-based care and promote long-term wellness through patient education and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Patient Assessments
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical exams.
- Identify and document impairments, movement dysfunctions, and functional limitations.
- Developing and Implementing Treatment Plans
- Create individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Set measurable objectives and adjust treatment approaches as patients progress or face challenges.
- Therapeutic Interventions
- Provide hands-on therapy using a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional training.
- Educate patients on exercises, self-care techniques, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery and prevent injury recurrence.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
- Prepare detailed reports for insurance purposes and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Patient and Family Education
- Empower patients and their families with the knowledge and tools to manage their health and support recovery outside of therapy sessions.
- Address patient concerns and advocate for their emotional and physical well-being.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team
- Work in close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive and holistic care.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Professional Development
- Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and trends in physical therapy.
- Engage in continuing education and maintain required licensure.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for patient care and improving overall well-being.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and assist patients as necessary during assessments and treatments.
- Physical stamina to perform a variety of therapeutic tasks, including standing, walking, and bending.
