Job Title: General Labor Maintenance
Location: Decatur, TN
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $14/hour
Job Summary: Express Employment is looking for a dependable and hardworking General Labor Maintenance worker to join our team. This role is focused on maintaining the property, performing general labor tasks, and assisting with various repair and upkeep duties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be willing to take on a variety of tasks, and be comfortable working outdoors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing & Maintenance: Assist with organizing tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure that everything is easily accessible and properly maintained.
- Lawn Care & Landscaping: Perform routine lawn care duties, including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping maintenance to keep the property neat and attractive.
- Fence Repairs: Help with repairing and maintaining fences, including replacing damaged sections, applying paint or stains, and ensuring proper functionality.
- General Labor Tasks: Assist with various general labor tasks around the property, such as lifting, carrying materials, or helping with construction/maintenance projects as needed.
- Running Errands: Perform errands for the team or management, such as picking up supplies, delivering materials, or other tasks as directed.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure that all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Support Maintenance Team: Provide assistance to other maintenance staff or contractors as needed, including helping with larger projects or repairs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in general labor, maintenance, or landscaping is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable with basic hand tools, lawn care equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and positive attitude.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor and indoor work environments.
- Physical labor requiring lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
- May involve exposure to chemicals or tools.
