Job Full Description
We are seeking an experienced Paving Foreman to lead and oversee our paving crew in the construction and maintenance of roadways. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring the quality and safety of the paving process, and managing equipment and crew to meet project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the paving crew during road construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of the paving work, including material placement, compaction, and surface smoothness.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform daily inspections of equipment, materials, and work conditions to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Resolve on-site issues and ensure that the crew adheres to project specifications and schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paving foreman or in a similar leadership role in road construction.
- In-depth knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and schedules.
- Valid driver’s license.
