Job: HVAC Service Technician
Pay: $18-24 hour
Location: McMinnville
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role is essential for ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients by providing high-quality service in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, thermostats, and evaporators.
- Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, appliance repair, and mechanical principles.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical documentation related to HVAC systems.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently.
- A valid HVAC certification or relevant licenses may be required based on local regulations.
