Job Description: Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a self-motivated Employment Specialist to join their team. As an Employment Specialist, your primary responsibilities will involve taking and completing job orders, working independently, and achieving set goals. Additionally, proficiency in typing with a minimum speed of 45 words per minute is required, along with a willingness to utilize social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
Take and process job orders from clients, ensuring accuracy and understanding of their requirements.
Conduct comprehensive candidate searches using various recruitment methods, including online job boards, social media, and internal databases.
Screen and evaluate applicants based on their qualifications, skills, and compatibility with client requirements.
Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to assess candidate suitability for specific job positions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their organizational culture, job requirements, and long-term staffing needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates to facilitate successful placements.
Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the application, interview, and onboarding processes.
Proactively source and attract potential candidates through creative recruitment strategies, including social media platforms.
Continuously meet or exceed individual and team goals for job placements, client satisfaction, and revenue generation.
Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and employment laws to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and effective negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in typing with a minimum speed of 45 words per minute.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with social media platforms and their utilization for recruitment purposes.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is desirable.
