Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and experienced candidates for a Thermoforming Operator position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $18.89 per hour, and both 12 hour shifts are available M-F from 6:00 P.M.-6:00 A.M. or 6:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M.

Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot issues
- Make quality products
- Complete start-up and shut-down procedures
- Change over tooling
- Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Complies with all Company Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
- Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have previous thermoforming or plastic extrusion experience
- Must have Machine Operating experience of 1 year in a Manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; must have skills to perform the basic technical tasks
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication of whole numbers, fractions, and units of measure. Ability to use rulers, dials, micrometers, and various pieces of measuring equipment accurately within 1/32 or .001 of inch incremental
- Basic computer literacy and keyboarding skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with other members of the team
- Capable of physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching or climbing stairs
- Capable of standing on concrete for long periods of time
- Able to work in a fast-pace, multi-task environment
- Capable of working in a hot plastic, fumes and dusty, hot/humid in the summer environment
- Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: ear plugs, safety glasses and foot protection
